Katie Luigs, ACNP

Katie grew up in Washington, and now lives in Evansville.  She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana and is a Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Digestive Care Center.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, listening to podcasts, and trying out new restaurants.

Aaron Holderman was born in Reading, PA, and was raised in Venezuela for the first 7 years of his life with his parents who were missionaries. He and his family then moved to Goshen, IN, until he graduated high school. Aaron received his degree from Vanderbilt University and has his ACNP certification.

When he is not practicing medicine, Aaron enjoys the outdoors where he is often camping, kayaking, and hiking with his family, and is an avid deer and turkey hunter. Outside of that, he also enjoys woodworking and building things. He also enjoys staying in shape and taking boxing fitness classes.

Sarah Long was born in Evansville, IN and raised in Boonville, IN and received her degree from the University of Southern Indiana. She has also received her ACNP certification.

When not working, Sarah enjoys a variety of activities, including Zumba, hiking, dancing, movies, music, video games, gardening, painting, knitting/sewing, and cooking/baking.

LaDonna received a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana in 2003.

She has been with Gastroenterology Associates since 2003. LaDonna is certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center, ACNP.

Born and raised in Evansville, and proud alumni of Mater Dei High School, Dr. Pugh received his graduate degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007. He then completed his fellowship at the University of Louisville in 2013.

He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine – Gastroenterology. In addition to providing consultative gastroenterology care, he specializes in EGD, colonoscopy, esophageal manometry, capsule endoscopy, EUS, sacral nerve stimulation, and treatment of liver disease.

Dr. Pugh is a member of the following professional societies: American Medical Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Gastroenterological Association.

When not working, Dr. Pugh enjoys spending time with family and attending his kids’ sporting/dance events!

Dr. Snyder was born and raised in Jasper, Indiana and received his graduate degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2006 and completed his fellowship at the William Beaumont Hospital in 2013.

He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine – Gastroenterology. In addition to providing consultative gastroenterology care, he specializes in EGD, colonoscopy, and treatment of liver disease.

Dr. Snyder is a member of the following professional societies: American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterological Association and Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.

When he is not in the office, he enjoys playing golf, cheering on IU, sports, and traveling.

Dr. Khan received his graduate degree from the Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan in 1995, and completed fellowships at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in Harlem Hospital Center in NYC in 2003 and advanced endoscopy fellowship at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX in 2010. He has been with Digestive Care Center since May of 2011.

He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine- Gastroenterology and also holds Indiana and Texas State Medical Licenses. In addition to providing consultative gastroenterology care, he specializes in EGD, colonoscopy, upper endoscopy therapeutic endoscopy (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and treatment of liver disease.

Dr. Khan is a member of American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and American Gastroenterological Association (AGA).

When he is not in the office, Dr. Khan is active watching and playing sports like tennis, badminton, basketball and cricket. He also enjoys “any genre of music as long as it’s good”, creative arts, and fine dining.

Dr. Rusche received his graduate degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1999, and completed his fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2006. He has been with Digestive Care Center since 2006.

He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine – Gastroenterology. In addition to providing consultative gastroenterology care, he specializes in EGD, colonoscopy, esophageal manometry, capsule endoscopy, and treatment of liver disease. Dr. Rusche is a member of the following professional societies: American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Rusche was born and raised in Evansville and attended Memorial High School. He currently lives in Evansville with his family. When he is not working, he enjoys exercising, nonfiction books, spending time with his family, and traveling.
