Dr. Scarlett Cao specializes in digestive health and advanced endoscopic procedures. She earned her medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and completed her residency at the Mayo Clinic, followed by a fellowship at Vanderbilt University.
Her clinical expertise includes EGD, colonoscopy, esophageal manometry, capsule endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, sacral nerve stimulation, and the treatment of liver disease. Dedicated to providing comprehensive and patient-centered care, Dr. Cao is committed to advancing the field of gastroenterology through both clinical excellence and compassionate service.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Cao enjoys staying active through pickleball and tennis, exploring state parks through hiking, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
