Digestive Care Center’s medical staff is growing. Now with 12 physicians and 12 nurse practitioners, we have improved access to our clinic. We are pleased to welcome the following new physicians.
Ravi Alapati, MD
A specialist in advanced laparoscopic surgery and board certified general surgeon, Dr. Alapati earned his medical education at Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, India. He completed his residency in surgery at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center, Manhattan, NY and his fellowship in laparoscopic and bariatric surgery at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. Dr. Alapati specializes in SILS (single incision laparoscopic surgery) for diseases of the gallbladder and appendix, laparoscopic surgery for gastric reflux, hiatal hernias, inguinal hernias and colon resections.
Aaron Pugh, DO
Dr. Pugh received his graduate degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007, and completed his fellowship at the University of Louisville in 2013. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition to providing consultative gastroenterology care, he specializes in colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound and treatment of liver disease. Dr. Pugh is currently accepting new patients.
Michael Snyder, MD
Dr. Snyder received his graduate degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2006 and completed his fellowship at the William Beaumont Hospital in 2013. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition to providing consultative gastroenterology care, he specializes in colonoscopy, upper endoscopy and treatment of liver disease. Dr. Snyder is practicing full time in our Jasper clinic. He is currently accepting new patients.
Rajiv Sharma, MD
Dr. Sharma received his graduate degree from Loma Linda University in 2009 and completed his fellowship at University of Rochester Medical Center, Strong Memorial Hospital in 2012. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition to providing consultative gastroenterology care, he specializes in colonoscopy, upper endoscopy and treatment of liver disease. Dr. Sharma is currently accepting new patients.
